Terms of use
Effective 11 October 2026. Version française.
What Hukaia does
Hukaia composes tailor-made travel itineraries: from your answers (destination, dates, travellers, budget, wishes), it proposes a day-by-day programme, places to stay and eat, and an estimated budget. Hukaia is published by Charlotte Grude, sole trader, France (see the legal notice).
Hukaia sells no travel and books nothing. It is neither a travel agency nor a booking intermediary: you book yourself, with whomever you choose, at public prices. Hukaia takes no commission on your bookings.
Information to check
Places are checked when the trip is composed, and prices are estimates. Opening hours, prices, availability, entry requirements and health rules change: check them with providers and authorities before booking and travelling. Hukaia cannot be held liable for a service provided by a third party, or for information that has changed since the trip was composed.
Your account
You can use Hukaia with or without an account. An account keeps your trips and lets you find them on all your devices. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You can delete your account at any time from the app: your trips and data are then erased (see the privacy policy).
Prices and payment
The price is always shown before any payment. On iPhone, purchases go through your Apple account and follow the App Store terms; a subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time in your Apple account settings. On the web, payment is processed by Stripe.
Having an agency organise your trip
If you ask, Hukaia sends a summary of your trip and your contact details to a partner agency, which offers you a quote. The contract is then made directly between you and the agency: Hukaia is not a party to it and takes no commission.
What you publish
The stories and photos you publish in the feed remain yours; you allow us to display them in Hukaia for as long as they are published. You agree not to publish anything illegal, abusive or infringing the rights of others. Reported content may be removed, and an account that breaks these rules may be suspended.
Ownership
The itineraries composed for you are yours to use: you may share, print and publish them in the feed. They may not be resold or built into another service. Agencies with professional access follow their own terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, please write to us first and we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or go to the competent court.
